Your turn.
Or waiting.

Some work needs your next move. Some is waiting on a reply, a review, or something else to happen. Keep the distinction clear.

My turn

The next move is yours. See what’s ready for your attention, with the latest context beside it.

Waiting

You’ve done your part for now. Keep track of what you’re waiting for, ready for the next update.

Pick up where
you left off.

Write a short update when something changes. Your latest status tells you where things stand. Earlier updates tell you how you got here.

A few things to know.

What should I keep in Faden?

Anything active whose situation you want to remember: a proposal, an app release, a repair, or a conversation you need to follow up on. Give it a short status and choose My turn or Waiting.

Does Faden update my work automatically?

You write the updates and decide whose turn it is. Faden gives you a small, dedicated place to keep that context.

What happens when something is finished?

Resolve the thread to remove it from your active work. Its history stays available, and you can reopen it with a fresh update.

How is this different from a to-do list?

Faden keeps the current situation and earlier updates for each piece of work. You can see what needs your next move and what you’re waiting for, including the context you’ll need when it comes back.

Which Macs does Faden support?

Faden requires macOS 15 or later. Download the app, move it to Applications, and open it. The default shortcut is Option-Space.

Does my work sync between devices?

Your threads and history are stored locally on your Mac. Faden currently has no sync or shared team workspace.
